Rain and Fibromyalgia
Good morning Iskra. I promise I am not going to bombard you with “stuff.” It is just so nice to have contact with someone who is doing the research and writing the book. I don’t want to write this book but I like having some input with someone who is. I was thinking after I wrote you yesterday. We had had a lot of rain here this summer and only in the last few months have I become completely convinced that the rain (barometric pressure) and both hot/humid and cold humid have a big effect on my pain.
It has rained a lot in the last few days and as I said yesterday, my pain has been so much worse.
As I said, I am not going to bother you with a lot, and if you would rather not have this kind of input, please let me know. You are just so responsive that I find myself wanting to tell you “stuff”
Thanks again and I will let you know about the effects of your diet on me.
Suzanne
Hi Suzanne,
You can email me any time. Don’t worry about this.
THE RAIN - OK, the rain affects everyone with fibromyalgia. The reason - the capillaries get spasms when it's rainy and cold. The capillaries are sensitive to the light; grey sky with insufficient natural light... That's the reason.
When you recover you won't be sensitive to rain and cold. For now you are at the beginning of your recovery and you still sensitive.
The Fibromyalgia CAN NOT GO AWAY OVERNIGHT. Week capillaries - it’s a part of your nature, as you may have blue eyes and blond hair, or snub nose:) etc.
Why the capillaries get spasms? That’s a good question. - It's about the energy in the atmosphere. We have a rainstorm, thunderstorm, magnetic storm. This is a natural phenomenon; thunder, lighting... this is a power. We all live in this environment and we can't change it. We cannot change the Nature, but we can improve our body.
From birth our (I mean - people with FM, incl myself) capillaries are 'underdeveloped'. They do not have the same strength, elasticity, abilities for recovery etc as the other tissues. In the Recovery program you will find all the info - the main nourishment for the capillaries, which keep them strong, open and they are able to deliver nutrition to the cells and to evacuate the metabolic waste products aka toxins. Doses, time for recovery...
The capillaries are the weak point of your body. The rest we call TRIGGERS - rain, candida, surgery, accident, baby delivery, sedentary/computer stile of life, diligent students and so many more...........All this is only triggers. The real reason is the condition of the capillaries and the weakness of some organs. The organs - often they are just congested with metabolic waste products, over the years.
Have you ever touched electric cable? - The muscles get contraction. When electricians have to check whether or not some wire has power, they touch the cable with the back of the hand. The muscles contract and the hand naturally get off the cable. - this example has no much to do with the rain, but shows how the muscles are designed - they are designed to do only 2 things: contraction and relaxation.
What we can do? - The only way to avoid sensitivity to these energies is to recover the condition of your capillaries.
The capillaries get spasms not only from the electric/magnetic effects that accompany the rain.
They get spasms from unsuitable environment within the body. If you reed Fibromyalgia breakthrough, you will find out about the reactions of the capillaries and the muscles.
They get spasms to prevent some products to enter the cells. I know, this book is a bit difficult to read as it has some medical terminology, but I can't avoid everything. Reed it in small parts and you will know more for your body and fibromyalgia, fatigue and depression.
Probably I should add some text about the rain and fibromyalgia in my Fibromyalgia recovery program. Thank you for the suggestion.
QUICK TIPS for pain relieve – take 3 hours or more (during my worst time I have done 5-6h sometimes) worm bath with bath salts inside. Take a flannel mitten and bar of soap and keep busy. The longer you stay, the better you feel later on. Traditional shower doesn’t work for fibromyalgia.
You could go to this forum and explain how to take a long bath to reduce the pain. That's all I can say for now; and not everyone is lucky to have a careful friend as you have.
For your quick recovery
